My Website and Emails I Receive
by Linda of angelstarcreations.com
This is my Personal Website. I don't work for anyone else any more. But I still do get occasional weird emails.
Someone recently sent an email to me about putting her articles on my website. She has a website for young moms. Basically what I wrote here is what I wrote back to her. I didn't know what else to say. I don't really want to work for anyone. I don't know if she will write me back again or not. Probably not. It didn't seem to be a scam. I hope she doesn't write back. I could have just ignored her, but I didn't. I don't know what she saw in my Website that got her to write to me. Not a clue. She probably wrote to a bunch of people and I probably will never hear from her again. She said she liked my blog. I don't know what blog she found on my website that she was talking about. This woman writing to me got me to write this little article for myself and for anyone who wants to read it.
I don't have anything to do with moms or babies as my daughter has no children, is not married and is not planning on anything of the sort. My daughter is an independent woman who lives in the L.A. area. She's 38.
I get occasional emails from people wanting me to read their stuff or put ads on my website. I usually ignore them. The one I got before her email was from someone wanting me to read their article about "The Seventh Bite." He or she had a website listed. I typed in the website and it didn't even exist. I ignored the email. I get some weird shit.
My website is just for me and my husband and my daughter. And for any family members or friends who want to come here. I only work on it on occasion these days. I LIKE working on it only occasionally. Like, for maybe an hour every couple of days. I don't sell anything here. It is my personal website. I've been updating it to the new fluid grid layout html version since 2016. It's taken me that long to update most of it. I think I've done all that I am going to do for a while. I do work on it and add things as I feel like it.
I'll tell you a bit about myself. I'm 68 years old. I'll be 69 in May. I used to do websites and web pages for people, but I'm now retired. I don't do that any more. I've been retired for 5 years.
I had a good friend die about week ago. Very, very sad. And I'm kind of freaking out about the Corona Virus thing. My husband and I only go into town once per week. Our closest town is about a 40 minute drive from us. Mainly we hang out at home and go for walks where we live, which is out in the middle of nowhere.
