The Wallace who married Sarrah McIluoyle (spelling?) was the first soldier of the Salvation Army in Port Glasgow. He died in 1925.
You probably know most of this! Perhaps you are connected to the Seattle or Boston families?
I can supply more detailed information if you want it.
My mother Wilhamina McCready married Dugold Cameron and my name is Sheila. I have a brother Dugold Ian. I married David Laidlaw and have two sons, Ewan and Peter.
From Mrs. Culpon to Jacqueline (Bohne) Baulne:
See what a small world it is! Sending you a copy of a letter from another Galbraith relative. (Notice spelling change in name over the years). My mother Elizabeth Wa?? mother was a Babcock from Newfoundland. Mom's cousin Jessie Babcock Dave & her husband were in Salvation Army. I inquired of her husband and his girls if the (sic) his bandmaster - - and they did know him (deceased) and his granddaughters quite well. We put them in touch with each other and they are filling in more family history together. How strange my relations should know some of Jack's relatives!! Jessie and husband George Dawe lived is Saugus, MA & Galbraith girls were in Revere, I think.
Don't know who wrote this last paragraph above. Probably "Mrs. Culpon" from first page.
