The house, attached to the trailer, going up and other various pics inside the house
October 1, 2010. The building is going up!
Looking through the south facing window
Looking through the south facing window.
Very cool clouds in the background. I LOVE clouds. With our 360 degree view we see lots!
That's the travel trailer peaking through the window.

Oh dear! The window cover on the travel trailer got ruined because of a dust devil!
Looking through the south-facing window.
Looking through the east-facing window.
Oct. 10, 2010 - The roof is on!!
We were still just sleeping in the travel trailer
Bert standing in front of the window being a silhouette! The door is on!
Our wood burning stove. Isn't it cool? It was free and we believe it was made sometime in the 1920s.
The steel roofing is going on and other openings are being closed!
The roof is done! There's Two Peaks, the little extinct volcano, in the background.
Windows are in; door is in, laundry is ready to go to town. :-)
Windows are in; door is in, caulking and everything else is now being done by Bert. We used our wood-burning stove last night for the first time. It works great! Don't expect anything fancy - this is Two Peaks after all. Two Peaks means funky. Which works for us!.
Our house with clouds. Cool, huh? See more cloud pics in my 2010 album. I love clouds!
The eves of our house with clouds.

We've got insulation in our roof! We also put plastic over (or under) this. Some day we'll put drywall up as well. Mainly we are focusing on insulation right now. Bert has only so much time to spend doing this stuff and we only have so much $$ to spend.
Our Solar Panel. Someday we may make a proper stand for it and maybe attach it to the roof. Some day.....
Our house from the rear from the knees of the Two Peaks mountain. That's it by itself in the right third section.
I love fire! Fire in our Wood burning stove. Then I closed the door - won't do this often at all.
Dec. 31, 2010 - Our house at Carson Estates - Two Peaks - A high desert at about 7,300 feet altitude.
Jan. 8, 2011 - Our Dining Room. That table is from Bert's youth when he lived with his parents in San Mateo. The two chairs are office chairs. Very comfortable. We also use this area for our living room. And there's Sparky on the table.
Jan. 8, 2011 - My room. Looking toward the west of the house..
Jan. 8, 2011 - The dioramas I have in out living room. One is of Egyptian stuff, one is of beach stuff, and the other is of various favorite stuff I own. The bottom two include cool bookmarks and postcards. We have managed to put a LOT of stuff into our small 14 x 12 (about that) house.
Our House May 31, 2011 and Bert's truck.
Our House May 31, 2011 and our nicely stacked firewood. The travel trailer is part of our house. There are hay bales stacked up and Styrofoam attached to the house to keep out the winter cold..
June 2, 2011. Our house showing travel trailer, hay bales and our "refrigerator Stonehenge" (fridge henge) that was supposed to be a work area and is now a storage area. Old refrigerators make great storage spaces!
Our small adorable house from different angles. The travel trailer is attached to the house
The "fridge henge" is a storage area and very rough patio.
Bert started painting our house! Whoo hoo!!!
October 16, 2011 - The house is painted some more!
And there's my hubby Bert
