I painted this on a rock. it is now sitting in our back porch. Added in 2019: Not any more. Don't know where it is. They are Egyptian symbols. Cool, huh?
We had a Buddha statue by our front door for quite some long time. I liked it there. Some time in 2009 someone stole our Buddha statue!!! That really stinks. So I painted this.

I painted this on a Saturday early October of 2009 at a free painting class. I went there with a friend. Just a little painting. It is 3.5 by 4.5 inches. I gave it to my sister-in-law.
It's watercolor mostly, I added some acrylic bits when I got home. The original is now owned by my husband's sister in Nevada.

According to some books I have read, the Christians stole this symbol and made it their own. They changed it. They removed the feminine principle (the circle at the top). Let's put the feminine principle back into all our lives so that things become balanced again on this planet!

July 20, 2012. We drove to Red River, NM and this is the only picture I took. It's supposed to be a watch out for falling rocks sign and someone added the falling cow.
Yeah... Been wanting to take a picture of this. There are at least two of these heading into and out of Taos. :-)
