There are lots of things here: Awesome rock formations, dinosaur bones, a cool library and a house Georgia O'Keeffe (the artist) stayed at, among other things.
Bert and me at Ghost Ranch which is near Abiquiu, New Mexico. We had a lovely anniversary day there.
Us again. Photo by our friend Kari Hauge. We had a wonderful lunch here with Kari.

Georgia O'Keeffe Cottage.
Here's the mountain Pedernal. Georgia O'Keeffe once jokingly said of this: "It's my private mountain. It belongs to me. God told me if I painted it enough, I could have it." Her ashes were spread up there.
They are working on finding dinosaur remains from the Triassic era.
The complete dinosaur here is a recreation.
Cool dinosaur remains.
June 22 The Echo Amphitheater
After the Ghost Ranch we drove a bit north and visited the Echo Amphitheater. Very cool. The last time we went here was in about 1998 with our then 16 year old daughter Erica.
Pretty desert flower

We went to Plaza Blanca. Georgia O'Keeffe loved to paint this place and called it "The White Place."

More Plaza Blanca.
And there's Bert
This place was so beautiful. Best to go here in early spring or late autumn. It's very HOT during the summer. All those rocks in an enclosed place!
