2014 April 24 - Drive over Bridge and up zig-zaggy road near Pilar, NM

We drove across this bridge over the Rio Grande near Pilar, NM and then up a zig zaggy road to the top of the gorge this night. Don't ask...

In Albuquerque at the Gathering of Nations (GON) PowWow on April 26, 2014

My friend Heather and I attended the Gathering of the Nations Pow wow on April 26, 2014. We had a great time!

This is the eagle (a real eagle, but fake background) - pictured in a previous picture. Yeah, I'm making a weird face. I was scared. Heather was her usual fearless self.

2014 April 29 - Interesting Cloud

Cool cloud. No it's not a tornado. Thought it was cool.

Snow May 12 & 13 2014 - 8-9 inches!

2014 May 13 - Snow! Yes! 8 to 9 inches of snow all together, yesterday and today. Much of it melted before we left for town. We did have to take the truck though. It has nice mud and snow tires.

Driving East Toward Taos

2014 May 13 - Snow and clouds on the mountains. On the way to Taos in our truck, heading east. Yes, we still use our truck sometimes. Taken with my cell phone. There was hardly any snow in the town of Taos!

2014 June 2 We went to Taos Ski Valley

9,321 feet (2,841 meters) altitude in northern New Mexico - We had dinner and a couple of margaritas

A band stand where they play music and people have fun in the summer!

The very first chair lift up the first part of the mountain. I don't ski, so you'll have to go elsewhere to find pictures of higher up on the slopes.

2014 July 7 Our new tire on our car

We got 4 new tires for our Toyota Camry! We needed them. :-)

2014 July 9 - Moving large mobile building onto UNM-Taos Klauer Campus. They made it around the corner. This will be classrooms while a building is renovated.

Flooding across dirt road at Two Peaks / Carson Estates in Northern New Mexico

2014 July 19 - Stream where we've never seen a stream before - going across the road we usually cross when we go home from town. We drove through this - with our Camry - after we saw another car go through it. We had to get home. It was dry the next morning. See other pics to see what it usually looks like.
