Spiritual/Metaphysical/Occult Books I've Read & Own
Under the Banner of Heaven: A Story of Violent Faith by Jon Krakauer. This book is the history of the Mormons - the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - and mentions how two brothers in a Fundamentalist Mormon church believed they were told by God to kill a young woman and her baby.
The Spiritual Tourist: A Personal Odyssey Through The Outer Reaches of Belief by Mick Brown. This is a good book from an author who can be kind of skeptical, which can be a good thing. I enjoyed it. Very interesting. I believe if you are on a spiritual search you should read this book. "This book starts out excellently and then gets better." ~ from back of book.
Genisis First Book of Revelations; Isis Book - I like this book lots. I own it. I bought it from someone in the UK through eBay early in 2012.
This book (1986) was written by David Wood, a surveyor, cartographer, and student of mystery religions. It is about sacred geometry and ancient knowledge handed down to us through secret societies.

Some books by Aleister Crowley
I've read and own some of his books and own his tarot deck. I find him and his ideas intriguing.
Some of his books I've read: The Book of the Law; The Book of Thoth; The Confessions of Aleister Crowley.
About him by other authors: Aleister Crowley: The Biography by Tobias Churton
This was suggested to my husband and I by someone. We read about Focusing in a book and practiced this for a while back in the 1980s or 1990s. I seem to remember we had positive results, but we no longer do this.
A Course in Miracles
We read this book and practiced it for a while. We were in a group here in Taos back in the 1990s and read the book every week. We still own the book and may read it again one day. A Course in Miracles
I've got a lot more metaphysical, Spiritual, Occult and religious books than this and may add more as time goes on.
